School of Government Alumni | Technology Leadership Guiding the Future

On April 21, the School of Government Alumni Association of Shenzhen University, together with the Shenzhen Shaokecheng Science and Innovation Lab Base, hosted the " Shenzhen University School of Government " alumni and children's event. Despite the heavy rain on the day, our alumni were undeterred, enthusiastically bringing their children to participate in this vibrant, technology-enriched event.

The event received strong support from the Shenzhen University School of Government Alumni Association, alumni Li Ting and Xie Yi, and Mr. Xiang Kaibing, founder of the Shenzhen Shaokecheng Science and Education Co., Ltd.,Mr. Zhang Guoqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Government, Secretary-General Pan Chunwu of the Alumni Association, and more than twenty alumni with their children participated in this memorable event.

At the start of the event, Secretary-General Pan Chunwu of the School of Government Alumni Association delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the association. He warmly greeted the alumni and provided a detailed overview of the current operations of the Alumni Association and its future directions. He emphasized the association's commitment to uniting the alumni to support the development of both the university and school. Pan highlighted the Alumni Association's continued focus on serving its members and encouraged the initiation of various activities. He called for active participation from alumni across all fields, and his speech received a positive response and enthusiastic applause from the attending alumni.

Following the opening remarks, Mr. Xiang Kaibing, the founder of Shaokecheng Laboratory, outlined the day's activities to the alumni. He discussed the importance of science and education in the national context of "Revitalizing the country through science and education, strengthening the country with talent," the significance of these sectors in talent development, and shared methods for fostering innovative thinking among children. Mr. Xiang also introduced the latest technological developments in leading-edge fields to the visiting alumni.

After the speeches concluded, the exciting tour began. Led by Mr. Xiang Kaibing, the founder of Shaokecheng Laboratory, the alumni sequentially visited the facility’s seven thematic technology laboratories: new energy vehicles, electronic technology, life sciences, artificial intelligence, digital media, advanced materials, and aerospace. During the tour, they learned about the development history of Shaokecheng Laboratory and the current state of technological development in each respective field.

Meanwhile, the laboratory staff engaged the children with cutting-edge biomimetic robots. The GO2 robotic dog, noted for its agile movements and intelligent responses, won rounds of applause. The children interacted with the robotic dog, experiencing the allure of technology firsthand. Additionally, other attractions such as dancing robots, new energy electric race cars, and aerospace models also provided spectacular displays, further captivating the attendees with the wonders of modern technology.

The dancing robots, with their precise motion control and graceful dance moves, showcased the advanced level of modern robotics technology. The new energy electric race cars provided the children with an exhilarating experience of speed and excitement, sparking their intense interest in the field of new energy vehicles. Meanwhile, the aerospace models took the children on a journey into the mysterious universe, allowing them to explore the unknown secrets of space.

During this festival of technology and creativity, the children expressed endless curiosity and fascination. The experience of touring and learning at the Shaokecheng Science and Innovation Laboratory was immensely beneficial to them. It not only inspired scientific thinking but also broadened their knowledge, planting seeds of scientific exploration in their young minds.

At the end of the event, all participating alumni and staff from Shaokechenggathered in the laboratory to take a warm, family-style group photo.

In this era filled with technology and creativity, Shaokecheng will continue to lead in the field of science and innovation education, providing more opportunities for young people to showcase themselves and realize their dreams. It is believed that, in the near future, these children will use their intelligence and talents to create an even more brilliant technological future.
