香港大学老年学博士、多伦多大学教育学硕士、中山大学文学学士、宾夕法尼亚大学社会政策学院及认知健康中心访问学者、全球疾病负担研究组(Global Burden of Disease)成员、老年认知障碍游戏干预(PID)培训师、多伦多大学SSLD实务系统认证咨询师、中国心理学会注册心理师、深圳鹏星社会工作服务社专家顾问、博士生导师、深圳市海外高层次人才C类。
研究领域包括老年认知障碍干预、老年学理论、临终关怀、创新型质性研究法研发及性别研究。已于The Gerontologist, International Journal of Qualitative Methods, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease,BMC Geriatrics,Neurology等核心SSCI、SCI期刊发表论文三十余篇,撰写国际教科书章节3篇。曾担任质性研究方法权威期刊International Journal of Qualitative Methods长期审稿人,精神病学核心期刊Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease编委。
