With laughter and joy bidding farewell to the old year, the School of Government welcomed the Lunar New Year with a cheerful and festive spirit. On the afternoon of February 8, amidst a warm holiday atmosphere, the faculty and students of the School of Government organized a New Year celebration to usher in the Year of the Dragon. Chen Wen, the Party Secretary of the School, and Zhang Guoqiang, the Deputy Party Secretary of the School, extended New Year’s greetings and well-wishes to the students.
At the celebration, Secretary Chen Wen and Deputy Secretary Zhang Guoqiang engaged in in-depth conversations with the students, inquiring about their studies and daily lives, and reminding them to stay safe during the holidays. Their words were filled with genuine care. The School also prepared special New Year gift packages for the students staying on campus, wishing them good fortune in the Year of the Dragon, success in the new year, and academic achievements. The students expressed their gratitude and shared their joy and hopes for the New Year. The atmosphere was lively, and the event concluded successfully amidst laughter and cheer.
This New Year celebration not only allowed the students to feel the care and support from the School but also strengthened the communication and connection between faculty and students. Since the winter break began, the School has been highly attentive to the management and service of students remaining on campus, consistently focusing on their physical and mental well-being and their needs for living and studying. The School has strived to provide thoughtful and enthusiastic services, ensuring that the students have a safe, warm, and harmonious Lunar New Year.
