From April 24 to 25, 2024, a team of instructors from the School of Government at Shenzhen University, including Duan Zhezhe, Nie Wei, Qi Tengfei, and Cao Jinyu, traveled to Lanzhou City in Gansu Province to conduct a series of enrollment promotion activities.
On the afternoon of April 24, instructors Duan Zhezhe and Nie Wei visited Fifty-Eighth High School of Lanzhou; (LanLian No.1 Middle School) to conduct an enrollment presentation and on-site consultation. They were warmly were warmly welcomed by the staff of the middle school. During the presentation, Instructor Duan enthusiastically introduced the various features and advantages of Shenzhen University to the parents in attendance. After the event, Instructors Nie and Duan actively addressed the parents' inquiries about Shenzhen University's admissions policies.
In the evening of April 24, Instructors Qi Tengfei and Cao Jinyu visited Lanzhou's Thirty-third High School to conduct another recruitment presentation and consultation session. Before the presentation, Instructor Qi, on behalf of the university, presented commendations to outstanding students from the the Thirty-third High School, and photos were taken to commemorate the occasion. After the session, the attendees, both teachers and students, actively engaged in questions, with Instructors Qi and Cao patiently answering inquiries about Shenzhen University and its various academic programs.
On the morning of April 25th, four instructors from the School of Government participated in the "2024 Gansu Province College Admission Consultation and Application Preferences Guidance Conference" held at Northwest Middle School in Lanzhou. The Shenzhen University booth was bustling with activity, and the university's promotional souvenir, "Youli Kid," was extremely popular among students and quickly ran out of stock. Many high school students actively sought information about Shenzhen University's admission policies, and the instructor’s provided advice and guidance on the spot, creating a lively exchange atmosphere that showcased the university's appeal to the students.
In the afternoon of April 25, Instructors Duan Zhezhe and Qi Tengfei visited the affiliated middle school of Northwest Normal University for a discussion with the school's responsible teachers. The dialogue focused on college entrance exam applications and Shenzhen University's admission policies. After the discussion, Instructors Duan and Qi presented commendations to outstanding students from the affiliated school, and another photo session followed.
This trip to Gansu not only strengthened the relationship between the university and high schools in Gansu Province but also significantly enhanced Shenzhen University's visibility among students, teachers, and parents in the region. Moving forward, the School of Government will continue to implement the university's strategic plans for enrollment promotion, mobilizing more resources for these efforts, and looks forward to meeting more outstanding students at Shenzhen University—where dreams begin!
