
Recently, Assistant Professor Liao Fuchong from our School published a research paper titled “Bureaucratic Restructuring’s Impact on Administrative Burden and Entrepreneurial Development” online in Public Administration and Development. Liao Fuchong is the sole author, with Shenzhen University as the only affiliated institution. The paper finds that Chinese government reforms have effectively reduced administrative burdens, creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurial development and promoting high-quality economic growth. Focusing on China’s successful administrative reforms, the paper enriches administrative burden theory and highlights that China’s reform experiences can serve as a reference for other developing economies. Public Administration and Development (PAD), ISSN 0271-2075, was founded in 1949 and is published by Wiley. It focuses on issues related to public administration and development studies, is indexed in the SSCI database, and is a professional journal in the fields of Public Administration and Development Studies. It has a 5-year impact factor of 2.5 and is ranked in SSCI Q2 in the 2024 JCR classification.
Author Introduction:
Liao Fuchong, from Ganzhou, Jiangxi, holds a PhD in Management and is currently an Assistant Professor at the Shenzhen University School of Government, a researcher at the Shenzhen University Institute of Global Mega-City Governance, and a researcher at the Shenzhen University Institute of Institutional Affairs. His research focuses on digital governance, government reform, and business environment.
